Prayer & Haiti..

With everything that's been going on in Haiti (the earthquakes and all of the devastation), Tim and his father are going down. I just pray that God surrounds them with protection that only He can give.

T called me a couple hours ago and filled me in on what's going on. He just found out that He's going down with his dad. He's like one of my closest friends, and I couldn't be more excited for him and their team! They leave around 4am tomorrow morning and he said that they should be gone for about 8 or 9 days depending. I know that God's going to use them for His glory and I can't wait to hear all of their stories about all that happened and all that they experienced...

Praise the Lord for opportunities to advance His kingdom, as well as helping those physically!

God has gotten us this far..What makes us think He's going to be done anytime soon?! :)

2010!

Happy New Year!!

it's 2010!

i'd say that i'm definitely glad that it's a new year! this past year was filled with sooo many ups and downs, and i'm ready to just move forward and move on to everything better that God has for me. i'm ready for a new year of serving others, and growing closer to God. i'm ready to allow God to completely work in my life, and i know that this year holds so much more than i can begin to imagine; and i can't wait to see and experience all of the many surprises that He has in store! :)

during this new year (and alllll of the many years to come), i want to become more selfless, and to do more things for other people...i'm going to try to do at least one thing a day for someone, whatever that may be. but i want my life and the way that i live, to completely resemble the relationship that i have with Jesus Christ.

..so here's to living another year all for Christ! :)
