how many states in less than 24 hrs..?

PA to NY & then back down to VA in the morning :P

Thanksgiving was suchhhh a blessing this year!! we had a wonderful time & i'm blessed with such an amazing family! i mean, don't get me wrong..we def have quirks & things that can make you wonder why God lets them happen...but in the end, it just gives us the need to love on them even more.

i'm heading back down to Lburg in the morning, so i'll get there tomorrow afternoonish..& then after that, there's only 2&1/2 wks left in the semester.....sooo, i'll be back up here in NY for a month when that's over..it'll be nice to be able to see friends for more than a few hrs once every few months of so, ha.

..but anyways....i'm gonna head to bed, & then next time i write, i'll prolly be back in VA ha ;)

we're having most everyone over for Thanksgiving in a few hrs at A. Janie's & i can't wait for everyone to get here! i love being with the fam, since i never really see everyone on this side that often. i wish that a few more people were coming, but it's all in God's hands & we just give it all to Him.

I'm so thankful for having such an amazing family. both sides.
we'll have a great time & chaotic at the same time....but that's what makes things so great! :P

mom, a. janie & i are going to go black friday shopping again..since it's tradition! i can't wait..we have so much fun! :)


...the only downside to the whole thing is that i have to fly back down to lburg early.......on sat...so then i don't really have a wknd here in PA like i normally do :(
but i guess it all works, because i only have 2 & 1/2 wks of class after i go back, and then i'm home for winter break for a monthhhh!!! :D

in ny now for break :)

today was quite funnnn!!

i got to see most all of my amazingly awesome Elim friends today....twiceee!! :D

i love & miss them soo much..they truly are wonderful friends!

& then i was able to drive out to houghton with a couple friends today to see a few more friends out there..& we had a great time! it was sooo nice to just see everyone and to catch up and hang out with everyone! :)

..but yeah, i'll have to write more later..because now, i think i'm gonna head to bed........nightt! ;)

the next few nights should be....pretty longgggg..

just considering all that i have to get done...the within the next 4 days [thru thursday], i have a final, a semi-final, a research paper, and regular work on top of that........oh it should be so fun :/ haha...not so much.

but thennn!!!! i head up to NY on friday morning around 11ish, so it'll be sooo nice to be on break for a lil over a wk!! ...but until then, i should prolly get back to all my work and research..

i'm actualy pretty stinkin excited because i'll be there for a few days...& then i'll be in PA for pretty much the rest of break! i can't wait...i should be seeing some friends in PA that i haven't seen since augusttttt :D :D

i'll also be staying at my aunt's house while we're there..& then we're hosting the whooooleeee family over for Thanksgiving.....sooo much fun!!! :D

..& then we're going black friday shopping of courseee!! haha..can't wait! ;)

houston, we've taken on water...

not only has it been pouring outside here alllll day (& supposively all night long & all day tomorrow)...but we've sprung a leak somehow & it's now 'raining' inside of my room, ha....& they can't do anything about it until it stops raining...i'm just glad it's not over my bed, since i'm on the top bunk :P

...oh yesss, & we've also been put under state alert for flooding, so this should be interesting...... ;)

i'm thankful.....to be sick?

yepp...so now i'm out for a few more days..

more drugs..new drugs......hmmm :/

..............i now have bronchitis/pneumonia.....greatttttttt!

at least i'll be better before break & Thanksgiving..!

[this is the only plus..but if i didn't get sick in the first place, i would already be better.....]

..i guess getting better is just something to be thankful for for Thanksgiving!

mmk.......so it's official..

i've been diagnosed with the H1N1 flu..

& let me just say that I haven't felt this crappy in a longgg whileee.....or at least since like Thanksgiving last year..and the year before....& a few yrs before that, ha

it seems like every year around this time, i get sick in some way or another...& of course, this time, it had to be thru mexican pigs :P

every other year it's some type of pneumonia that lands me in the hospital for an overnighter or so, but this time, it's the H1N1........oh well, i guess i should be thankful that it's not duringgggg Thanksgiving this year! & i'm really hoping that the meds they gave me will help a lot and that it won't last long...so i guess for right now, we'll just have to wait & see how long it lasts..

today was much needed....getting out. meeting new people. going to & working with a new church plant. ministering.

i loveeee being in a high from doing the work of God! :D
